A 2013 Italian film told from three different points of view. The idea of multiple views of the same story is not new -- Lawrence Durrell's "Alexandria Quartet" for one, the 2004 film "Crash" for another -- but there are so many sub-plots and secondary stories here that each chapter is like a separate movie that simply intersects the others at a few key points.
The pivot story is a hit-and-run accident that kills a bicyclist, but swirling around that is infidelity, financial malfeasance, a troubled teenager, and several others. Cinematography was fabulous (largely shot at night in the dark -- like "Crash" come to think of it) but the music, while good music on its own, was oddly ultimately intrusive. The same marimba music played behind almost every scene.
And the ending left a lot of loose ends.
Overall: B-
