This series -- I dunno, is it a series or a string of movies? -- gets a lot of attention so I'm vaguely aware that it exists.
Thumbing across the channels tonight [waiting for the ORC to come down sick or assassinate a judge] I came upon an episode of GotG.
Wow. Stupid much?
There are actors in elaborate blue or green colors (practical or digital? Impossible to tell) who walk around wise-cracking and listening to 1970's music. There are "backgrounds" (obviously cheap digital insets) of impossible physics using magic to do impossible things. There are dick jokes and fake sexual tension and talking raccoons who do impossible things.
It's like a cartoon drawn by a 14-year old boy and given a $5m budget to make a movie.
I mean, wow.
Ken and Barbie would not be out of place strolling through. I guess that's Hollywood now.
