| Today, I am teaching myself a foreign language by watching the 1948 movie, "Abbot & Costello meet Frankenstein" with Dutch subtitles.
Did you know the Dutch word for coffin is "doodkist"?

The reasons fairly scintillate the imagination. |

| Yeah, I was going for scintillation.
Which reason are you questioning? The fact that I am attempting to learn Dutch, or the fact that I'm using an old movie to do so?

| It was probably her fault. Moose don't like to be teased. Especially about their looks.

| "Verstop dat hoofd" means "Hide that head."
Valuable education.

| My wife works for a Dutch bank. Maybe I can come up with something to impress them in casual conversation. "Hide that Head" seems promising. Or maybe, "Sluit me op." which means "Lock me in."
