Our time on earth is limited. We spin up, out of the environment around us. We are given names, and we move across the face of the planet. Sometimes we leave a trail of destruction, sometimes we pass over the ocean with no lasting effects.
Eventually, we run out of force and dissipate, our energy dispersing back into the environment. Some of us leave vast trails, which are quickly papered over, but most of us are forgotten as soon as we fade out. Our names are recorded in books, but we leave no permanent traces.
We are as hurricanes.
