Gizzards Anyone?

Gizzards -- secondary stomachs often populated with stones to aid in the breaking down of seeds and other hard foods -- are found in all birds, some fish, apparently many dinosaurs, and alligators and crocodiles.

Bird gizzards are eaten in a wide variety of cuisines around the world.

Can't find any evidence that croc or alligator gizzards are considered consumable.
