This technology of 'deepfakes' scares the living shit out of me. Pretty soon -- already? -- you won't be able to trust anything you see or hear. Politics is the worst arena for it, but also personal stuff like blackmail. Reputation savaging. Sexual harassment trials. I mean, it could get really nasty.
