Reasons For Hope

Among all the really heinous news stories, there are occasional glimpses that all is not lost.

• Long lines of people queuing to vote on the first day of voting in Chicago
  
• Postal employees quietly delaying or disobeying orders to slow mail sorting and delivery
  
• Young people volunteering in droves to man the polling stations, because old people need to avoid the public exposure
  
• Expectations are being adjusted to be realistic as to what we can expect, so we aren't blindsided
  

Russian disinformation is working hard to sow discord in America, sow division and confusion, but we are strong.  It'll be an uphill battle -- especially with the government and the Justice Department on the wrong side of the effort -- but if they think it'll be easy to steal this election, they're wrong.

Their methods are being exposed for the amateurish nonsense they are.

Obama's speech in Pennsylvania tonight was a barn burner.  He laid into Trump like no ex-president has ever excoriated a previous office-holder.

Dunno if it'll do any good, but it can't hurt.

Except Donald.  He's probably crying in his cornflakes and throwing his toys.  He may even need a pants change.
