I had an idea for a religion this morning. It's such a good idea I'll be surprised if somebody isn't already doing it.
What you do is sell reincarnation, with a sliding scale of cost depending on how high up the evolutionary scale one comes back as. To come back as another human would cost six figures, a simian or cetacean five figures, a dog or cat four figures, etc.
Then when the subject dies, if the family cares, you find a baby or a kitten born on the day of the person's death and tell them it's the client.
It's foolproof. The family, if they believed, would find reasons to believe and the client, well, the client would be dead. Brilliant!
