Nine years into the second decade of the second millenium we finally have enough perspective to tell the truth about the first decade.
The series starts out kinda fluffy: TV trends. Some great PPV shows came out, but also the abomination of reality TV. Networks realized they could get audiences without hiring any writers or actors; people would watch any ridiculous shit.
The next two episodes are much meatier. They cover 9/11 and Cheney’s response and Congress’s abdication of their control over war powers. The clarity, neutral tone and absolute undeniability is the best summary of those mistakes I’ve ever seen, second only to the movie “Vice.”
