| Broke my computer glasses and my appointment with the eyeball guy is three weeks out. I refuse to use duct tape, but painters tape works fine. Where do I send this picture to get my Official Nerd Certificate? (I did this as a joke, and my wife cracked up, but these are the only glasses that work well with the computer, so...)  |

|  Well, it didn't work. The real nerds are right - it has to be duct tape. Painters tape doesn't hold up long. If it's good enough for NASA, it's good enough for me. For now. |

| Well, that didn't work. The clamp kept sliding off the duct tape. Plan C: A very tiny piece of duct tape on the broken eye pieces - just to get some adhesive. Then push on a piece of a plastic ball point pen ink reservoir. So far, so good. It's not exactly the right length, but I don't want to mess with (possible) success.  Stay tuned. My god, I've got to get a life. |
