I was wondering what app you would use for strangling someone.

I don't know where you got the idea that I am a "Windows lover."
The fact that I have some problems with Apple doesn't mean that I love Windows.

I cannot recall ever expressing any admiration for Windows or any other Microsoft product. I had contempt for Microsoft products before there was an IBM PC.

I think we got a call from those scam artists the other day. I was out, but my wife said she answered a call from some Indian who was talking about computer viruses. She told him to call back when I was home, but he never did.

Watch out for this guy. He will fuck up your computer - and try to get you to pay him for it. Yeah, "Russell" had a heavy Indian accent. Do those people think that Americans are so stupid that they believe the "Russell" or "Steve" or "Debbie" business?

Some guy - maybe the same guy, maybe a different one - finally got me on the phone this afternoon. He waffled for a couple of minutes, then started asking me to press keys for him. I asked him what kind of fucking idiot he thought I was and hung up. Hopefully, he will have caught the hint that I don't want a call-back.

Don't be to sure. I got another call from the guy (or at least someone with the same accent) a couple of weeks ago. When he said he was from the Windows Service Center, I said, "No. You're not. You're a lying piece of shit." and hung up. I expect he'll call again. Fortunately, I just bought a new land line phone that has memory for blocking 250 numbers.

I'm starting to miss the days when there was no such thing as tool-free calls and long distance calls were really expensive.
