Orrin Hatch, who I have long thought has the intellectual capacity of a bivalve, has announced he won’t seek re-election. He probably did the calculation that after his support for the tax plan he’d face steep opposition in an uphill battle.
Hopefully the first of many Republicans who are too cowardly to defend their votes.
