Doing some more LP-->CD-R conversions, chasing ticks & pops. Gawd this is tedious.
My mind begins to wander. There are 14,400 samples (data points) per second, all having to be in just the right place.
An 80-minute CD-R contains, uh let's see, 4800 seconds?
So that's 69 million, 120 thousand data points I have to inspect on each disc.
There are 21 LPs in the pile.
1 billion, 451 million, 520 thousand bits.
No wonder I'm getting cross-eyed.
