The KKK and Prohibition Empty

I did not know that. But it doesn't really surprise me.

The power of ignorant stupidity is quite scary. Consider: prohibition of alcohol was a disaster for the country, one that that it still hasn't fully recovered from. So then they tried prohibition of drugs. That's an ongoing disaster, which they have done their best to export to other countries (with equally disastrous results there). Next, they don't like abortions. Well, nobody does. It would be nice to institute policies that would reduce the number of abortions in the country. Instead, they're going for prohibition again. And any thinking person knows what the result will be.

But the exact target of each campaign isn't what is touted. The goals of organizing to implement religion and racism were visible in the nineteenth century, and haven't disappeared (or even grown any subtler) any time since.
