Just saw an ad for Boost energy drink, said it was made with non-GMO ingredients.

Sad to see mainstream acceptance of the thoroughly-discredited GMO myth.

You may consider doing a little more research into GMO products.

What is the " thoroughly-discredited GMO myth" you refer to?

That GMOs are by definition harmful.

Well, that's ridiculous, of course. As ridiculous as saying that GMOs are by definition non-harmful. The definition of the process and products don't define the potential for harm.

That may be a misconception but one can disapprove of GMO's for other reasons such as suspicion of factory farming or environmental concerns.

Many GMO products are perfectly fine, with little downside potential. It's fine if people want to avoid all GMO products, but I put this on the same level as the tens of millions of people who have suddenly decided they are "allergic" to gluten. About one percent of the population has a problem with it, but it has become a fad. I saw an ad on TV for a vitamin pill that is non-GMO and gluten free. Whoopee fucking doo.

But the development of grains that are resistant to a specific herbicide - Roundup - I consider a terrible idea, with potentially devastating results.
