Ghostbusters

I found some of the hating promulgated against the all-female reboot to be objectionable. So, when the flick made it to cable, I thought I'd give it a chance, but I wasn't engaged by it. Then today I thought I'd try it again, just in case. Nope, just not that funny.

Melissa McCarthy's in it, isn't she? I usually like her.

But no, the whole idea seems ill conceived so I've stayed away too.

I tend to ignore remakes, and I believe I will give this one a pass.

Why are there so many remakes? Are good ideas really that hard to come by?
