Rex Tillerson, Sec't of State

Just announced, the CEO of Exxonmobil will be Trump's state.

He is the single US citizen who is closest to Vladimir Putin, having personally brokered a $500 billion deal between Exxonmobil and the state oil company of Russia. He received the highest honor Russia can grant to a non-Russian citizen.

Russian influence in the US election was just a coincidence, nothing to see here, move along.

Tillerson is a controversial choice because he has never held a government job before, in fact he's never held any job outside of Exxon. Has no diplomatic or political experience at all. Has openly defied previous government sanctions against Russia.

If confirmed, we will have a president with no diplomatic or political experience, a chief of staff with no diplomatic or political experience, and a Secretary of State with no diplomatic or political experience.

Holy schnikies.

Very few of Doctor Whozit's appointees have government experience, much less foreign policy or diplomatic skills. He'll have a nearly one-hundred percent unqualified cabinet and staff.

The 500 billion dollar deal that Tillerson made with Russia was stopped by the administration as part of sanctions against Russia over its annexation of Crimea (I think that was why). Tillerson owns about 150 million in Exxon stock, which would increase greatly if that deal was renewed. I would expect that particular sanction to be removed before the sun sets on his first day in office.

Tillerson is also a climate change denier, of course. "Oiligarchy" here we come.
