That may be one of LePage's more rational statements, crazy though it is. That man is insane.

Does he not realize that "authoritarian" and "autocratic" are synonyms? Does he not see the glaring gap in logic of calling for a dictator because our present president "just does it on his own"?

This is the guy who said that his state's drug problems were caused by black pushers coming in from other states, and he could prove it because he had a binder full of pictures of them.

Then the ACLU forced him to release the binder.

He is not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer.
