Turtles are Faster Empty
PostSubject: Turtles are Faster   Turtles are Faster EmptyTue Sep 13, 2016 2:39 pm

I often place orders for items that come from the Los Angeles area. Being less than 200 miles from there, it never made sense to invest in expedited shipping. When free shipping is offered, I take that and normally receive the item in two days (on occasions, I have received an item the day after ordering). The goods are shipped via UPS ground or US Mail.

I have recently discovered that some of the vendors are now using a different method for their free shipping, which includes both the UPS and the USPS. By combining the services of these two carriers, it now takes about five or six business days to receive a shipment from LA. Progress?

The average turtle ... walks at 3 to 4 mph.

So if the vendors would duct tape a small item to the back of a turtle, I should receive it in two days. Progress!

I just checked the status of an order I placed yesterday, which is using only the mail for delivery. The USPS web page shows that the item is now on the truck for delivery. Today.

I think I figured out where your problem lays.

L.A. traffic.

Maybe if you ordered from Las Vegas or Phoenix.

Good idea. Perhaps you could contact the vendors and ask them to move their businesses.

Aren't there any breweries in Arizona?

The country's best brewery, in my opinion, is about eight miles from me.
