America Online has been the butt of many late-nite TV host jokes, but it's free and has unlimited storage (I can search emails going back ten years) and it's always been fine for me.
Until recently.
I noticed a couple months ago that e-mails seem to be limited to 500 characters now. If you keep typing, the text doesn't show up on-screen. You can save the message as a draft, then re-open it and your text is all there -- but you cannot see any additional text you type.
It's a game of typing blind, closing and reopening to look for typos.
And if you print, only the first 500 characters print, ever.
This is new. And extremely annoying. Fucking AOL.
