Yeah, that's pretty strange. You wouldn't think, or I wouldn't think, that celestial bodies that small possessed enough gravity to keep the two nodes orbiting each other. Every 7 hours is a pretty good clip. Why'nt they fly apart?

That's just weird.
Very little gravity is required for attraction in space. Some years ago, one of the astronauts found that granules (salt, or something similar) in a bag would coalesce because of their incredibly small gravitational attraction.
