"Hey Siri! NPR!"

My iPad often sits on my nightstand, and sometimes I listen to NPR news in the morning. The iPad triggers Siri to wake up if it hears the phrase "Hey Siri," which probably was chosen because it almost never comes up in random conversation.

But this morning, something on NPR triggered Siri, and she tried to decipher an NPR story about Somali refugees. I was just an innocent bystander.

I can imagine if some news organization did a story about Apple's AI -- or if some person named something like Siri were to reach the world stage -- all hell would break loose. Nations would collapse.

And those of us who do not use siri would badly injure ourselves from laughing too much. It would be a pandemic.
