Ted Cruz's Running Mate

In a political season that is sometimes hard to tell parody from reality, this announcement just pegs my irony-o-meter.

In a way they're perfectly matched. People in the Senate absolutely loathe Ted Cruz. And anyone who's ever worked at Hewlett Packard despises Carly Fiorina.

So they're perfectly suited to each other.

Don't expect them to appear in public together very much though. The amount of negative energy they generate would probably go nuclear.

OMG Fiorina was on Hannity tonight, talking about how Trump represents people who are rich and powerful "while people like us get left out."

Excuuuuuse me???

Perhaps Cruz was hoping to take over Fiorina's delegate count.

Oh wait, she doesn't have any.

Shortest term ever, 6 days.

I have some cupcakes upstairs that are older than that.

Bear in mind -- I learned this last election cycle -- when a candidate drops out of the race they are legally allowed to keep any unspent campaign contributions for their own personal use.

Cruz has $9.3 million.

Kasich has $1.16 million.

Yeah. I have always found that troubling. But let's look at it: the politicians make the laws, and... well, I guess that's as far as we need to dig into it.

When Cruz bowed out after Indiana,  he praised Fiorina as being "an incredible, phenomenal running mate." What a stupid man. I'm surprised he has gotten away with all those Zodiac killings for such a long time.
