| Read a review of 2016 cars recently; the Subaru Forester was lambasted as being reliable, quiet, practical and utterly boring. I think they called it a "soccer mom car."
One thing they did praise was rear visibility. Large windows out the back and sides make it easy to see cars around you or to parallel park.
That is indeed one of the primary attributes I like best about my Forester.
I cannot abide, cannot understand why otherwise advance-design cars like the Prius, Volt, Tesla, yadda yadda yadda all seem designed to initiate backing-up accidents. Why why why? |

| Uh...because they aren't station wagons?
A friend recently bought a Subaru Outback and loves it.

| Almost all Subaru owners feel that way. Of course Jaguar and Corvette afficianados don't buy soccer mom cars.

| He had a Forester a few years ago and didn't care for it, but he really likes the Outback
Jaguar people don't like Corvettes. You shouldn't lump them together like that.

| You can't see to the rear of this car very well, but who cares? |

I care. This kind of auto porn is fun to look at but even if I was Donald Trump I would never in a million years consider owning one. THAT, I contend, makes this car impractical. |

| Hilarious video, Richard. Fucking idiots with lots of money and no driving skills.
Yes, NoCo, it is impractical for everyday driving or hauling lumber.

| I remembered the quote, because it completely cracked me up at the time, but I couldn't remember what the movie was. Fortunately, somebody else thought it was worth loading to Youtube, even though the rest of the movie is crap. |
