Avoid BofA because of some hacker? If that is your only criterion, then you need to turn off your computer immediately. There are much better reasons to avoid BofA.

It's only one of 7,632,054 reasons to avoid BoA. The other 7,632,053 are just as compelling.

This is from an old Yahoo account. It is an account that was set up for administering my other accounts. I have never sent an email from this account, nor have I given it to anyone. The name of the account is just random numbers and letters - not something that someone would guess. I guess when all the Yahoo account info stolen it made its way to this asshole.

But on the plus side, he may fuck with a bunch of Trump voters. HaHaHa.

Dear Reader,

LEAKED: Trump voters need to 'watch out' for THIS...

Hillary has one final secret hiding up the sleeves of her ugly pantsuit jacket...

There's now proof on video that she DID rig the entire 2016 election... and FAILED.

Now, she wants her revenge. And will stop at nothing to get it.

What plan does she have in store for Trump voters? Watch the uncensored video here.

(Warning: The following information you're about to see is disturbing, but has just been confirmed.)

P.S. We thought we'd seen the last of her crooked ways, but she's not going down without an all-out WAR. If you voted for Trump, this could be your only opportunity to protect yourself before her next move. Click here to see the warning now.

Ha! I just passed a Globe Magazine at the grocery store checkout, with a picture of Hillary behind bars: "CROOKED HILLARY TO SPEND REST OF LIFE IN JAIL"

Hi,

I noticed you've reviewed a few books on Amazon and thought you might be interested in reading my new book: Manifesting Miracles and Money: How to Achieve Peace, Purpose and Plenty Without Getting in Your Own Way.

The book is a call for all of us to rise up and unite for peaceful co-existence, harmony, great abundance, and evolutionary advancement. And yet, we take manifestation a step further, igniting the reader to manifest daily so as to give more to others. It is in this giving that we create movement in our own abundance, as it is a part of the “law” of circulation.

Let me know if you would like a free review copy of the book, and if you prefer a PDF, .mobi or .epub file.

Thanks,

Michelle Paisley Reed

Just got a spam telephone call. It included something I've not heard before, something kind of clever (but pernicious...)

These automated dialers take a second to begin the recording, once you pick up, because they must switch modes. Usually this is a dead giveaway that you're talking to a machine, rather than a live person. However this one came on with, "Oh I'm sorry, I was having trouble with my headset! There you are now!"

It ALMOST had me fooled until she started in on the canned spiel about the free vacation getaway to Orlando Florida.

I've gotten a couple of those. Thought it was quite clever and very well done. Still went on the block list, however.

In my previous career one of the things I used to do was program IVRs. I was given demonstrations of "deluxe" options that allowed the IVR to respond to natural speech, and respond to the tone of voice of the speaker, and to change up what was spoken back to the caller to the point that it became increasingly difficult to know if you were speaking with a machine or not. State-of-the-art (and very expen$ive) programs could be incredibly compelling.

I vaguely recall reading an article or two about that type of IVR a few years ago. But I doubt that the spammers ever use it. Spam recordings are easily identified by the inability to interrupt them. Real people will always reflexively respond to an interruption.

Had a call yesterday from some black guy. I could tell from the accent, which was so thick I couldn't really make out what he was saying.
"I'm sorry, I have no idea what you're talking about."
"You mean you don't know about your $2.5 million certified check?"
"Oh yeah, probably comes straight from a Nigerian prince."
And I hung up. For some reason he didn't bother to call back.

Got a text message today "from Wells Fargo Bank." Told me to click on the link to update my account info.

Just guessing that it may not be valid, as I have never had an account with Wells Fargo, nor has my wife.

It's so easy to block numbers on this phone.

Assholes, I tell you! Assholes!

Don't be so sure.

Between 2011 and 2013 Wells-Fargo opened over 2 millions accounts without the permission or notification of the account holders. You may have a credit card there right now, accruing monthly service fees.

Or several.

The accounts that Wells Fargo opened were additional, unrequested accounts for their customers.

Maybe. But are you sure one of your mortgages hasn't been sold to a dummy corporation doing business in the Bahamas under an assumed name by rogue employees of a Wells Fargo secret subsidiary?

Now and then, I check the spam folders on email addresses I no longer use. I retain them so that I don't have to update the email info on all of the sites which I seldom visit. Got a couple of doozies.
How do they expect people to take them seriously when their grammar is no better than Trump's?

This one is pretty clean, only minor errors. I still have this problem with the idea that if you are looking for someone who can collect $500M, you just email random people.

Hello Friend,

Good day and how are you doing?

My name is Zhao Dong, I am the senior manager for Procurement, Hong Kong Refining Company (Sinopeccorporation) I have been mandated to source crude oil from Libya for supply to our refineries. To this effect, I have been able to establish good relationship with the senior management of Azzawya Oil Refining Company of Libya.

I am now looking for a competent middle person to stand in between Hong Kong Refining Company and the Azzawya Oil Refining Company of Libya for the sales and purchase of 2 Million Barrels Monthly for 36 Months. This is the order to take home a commission of USD5 to USD7 per barrel. This amount is payable to the middle person as commission.

Kindly send your response via my private email ( zhaodong1972@linuxmail.org ) for more details.

Regards
Zhao Dong.

Hey Howard!

I know, right? Like what is even the purpose of that spam? Cuz the address is, of course, not anyone I know so it's not legit. But like, why?
