| If there was a national Drive Backwards Day, which side of the road would you drive on? And why? |

| But if you are driving backwards wouldn't it be on the same side as whatever your country uses you'd just do it all in a car facing the wrong way? I mean you'd come to the same stop signs and enter the same parking lots you'd just do it all in reverse gear facing the back of the car. |

| Ah, but you'd only see the traffic signs in your rear view mirror. |

Well, no not just in the rear view because the majority of people I see attempting reverse maneuvers tend to at some point turn around in the drivers seat to look out the back rather than simply always relying on the rear view. But even so- it doesn't seem that any of that would affect what side is driven on. |

| Easy answer - neither side; I would stay home on that day. Jesus, isn't driving hazardous enough, now we have to have National NoCo Day? I mean Drive Backwards Day.

| All of the stop lights that have sensors for traffic would not work. |

Think about it, if you pull up to the same exact spot at the light that you would if you were driving forward why would the sensors that are often in the ground and detect the weight of the vehicle not work? You are still there, you are still waiting on the light, you are just going to move through the light ass first instead of front first. |

| No they wouldn't. Cars driving backwards would queue up on the wrong side of the intersection, the pressure pads or capacitance sensing coils would be on the other side of the intersection. Come to think of it the traffic lights would be facing the wrong direction too. |

Why would you be on the wrong side of the intersection if all you are changing is backwards or forwards? If I get in my car now and drive backwards (ie in reverse) to the light at Fortification and sit there it will give me the turn signal. |
