Assault Weapons Ban

The Supreme Court upheld a Chicago assault weapons ban, with a predictable dissent from Thomas and Scalia.

Can somebody tell me again why those two boobs are in their jobs?  They don't seem qualified to be county dogcatchers.  Assault weapons are not an inalienable right.

New Zealand has taken the entirely-reasonable move of banning assault-type weapons after their massacre. Too bad it took a massacre of 50 innocent lives to motivate the change, but better late than never.

Now if only other civilized nations would do the same.
