Not a bad article, but it is hard to place any trust in Gates, considering the corrupt nature of Microsoft's business practices over many years.
I don't think we have a chance in hell of solving anything if we leave it to the profit-seekers. An entity whose only goal is making a profit cannot be depended on to make the kind of singular-goal effort required to solve the energy problem.
