Excellent.

As many of you know I have sided with the economists who claim that austerity -- as evidenced by the disasters it caused in Greece -- is exactly the wrong medicine for a weak economy. Now Germany is trying to impose it on Cyprus.

Historically, austerity policies had been proven wrong every time. They exacerbate the problems of the masses, increasing unemployment and driving down wages for the working classes. But they do provide opportunity for increased profits for large businesses, especially the financial services industry.

Gee, I wonder why the Republicunts keeps pushing for austerity.
