I think it's necessary to differentiate between the top 1% and the top 0.1%. Also necessary to specify whether you are speaking of income or wealth. There is more difference in income between someone just barely into the 1% and those in the 0.1% than there is between the barely 1%er and the bottom fifty percent on the population.

Yeah probably true but we're still waiting for Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sixpack to notice their vote doesn't count anymore.  

And legislation isn't forthcoming anytime soon either.
