My mom used to make me chopped olive sandwiches, with some diced walnuts and mayo on wheat bread with lettuce. Nobody else I've ever talked to is familiar with this delicacy, but man it's delicious. I just polished one off, with my apricot beer.

Love olive salad! Probably the southern version of chopped olive, we use it on muffalattas but it can be awesome by itself as you describe.

Also tomato sandwiches, especially with homemade mayo, omg, to die for!
