I wish I could believe

Not so much when things are going well, but when life kicks you in the teeth you'd like to think there's some higher purpose to all this, or some grand design. Something that makes sense of the senseless misery.

Someone to get mad at.

I have tried to imagine what it must be like to believe in that crap, but I was never able to come close. It's just to bizarre even for pretense.
