Koch Brothers + Keystone XL Pipeline

No wonder Congress is putting the stupid pipeline above the nation's business -- the Koch brothers, who own the largest tracts of tar sands fields and whose refineries would process this "dirty oil," have contributed $50 million to the lobbying effort.  They stand to make up to $100 billion (with a B) if taxpayers fund the pipeline.

I believe "Criminal" would be a more accurate term.

Phase 1 is complete. The Koch brothers are toasting Mitch McConnell.

It PISSES ME OFF that apparently all the media except Huffington Post and a few lefty websites haven't got the balls to dig into the Koch connection. I think it's important, damnit, who is buying our government and running it from their chateaus in the Hamptons.

Let's hope that Obama sticks to his promise to veto the bill.

Why the surprise? No one except the lefties realize that the country being owned and operated by the über-rich is a bad thing.

Now that Obama is a lame duck I guess we can hope he grows a pair.

There's no harm in fantasy.

He did today. In a stunning shout-out to Republican mirror-world, Republicans accused Obama of putting lobbyists above the will of the people.

That was Obama's first veto of a significant piece of legislation. I am very surprised that he did it. The Democrats won't let the Republicans override the veto.
