I don't use social media very much, an Instagram not at all, but I thought this might be of interest. There are some tips at the bottom of the article for Facebook, Gmail and stuff, also.

If you want to send someone a photo, why not just email it? Works for me.
If you want to share your photos with the world, why post them and then not want them seen?

Kids these days don't think about such stuff. When they start looking for jobs they'll be in for some very humiliating job interviews.
