TED Talks?

There are hundreds of TED Talks available online for download.  I've heard maybe a dozen or a dozen & a half of them, and frankly, haven't been impressed.  Mostly they're pretty obvious, or unsurprising, or  (what's a good word for it?) piddling.

Anybody have any favorites that need checking out?

I've only seen a couple of them and thought they were a complete waste of time.

I used to listen to them, but haven't for quite a while. I think there are some worth hearing, but there are a lot that aren't.

My impression of a Ted Talk.

Ted:
"Two plus two equals four."

Crowd:
"Oooooooooh"

Ted:
"And it's the same every time!"

Crowd:
And the crowd goes wild.
